Susan Burnette has a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University in Art Media Studies.  She has worked as a photographer for Martin-Marietta and The Dade County Medical Examiner Department, among other companies.  She is currently a graduate student at Western Carolina University pursuing her Masters of Health Sciences with a concentration in Gerontology.  She and her husband Blake live in Black Mountain with their cat Spirit and new puppy Chloe.
