Marketing and Communications Specialist
Duties include providing related services to develop and maintain a positive image of Pardee Hospital and good working relationships between the hospital, its associates, medical staff, patients, volunteers, community, businesses and civic organizations.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field required, three-four years experience in marketing preferred including previous experience in writing and proofreading, public speaking, photography, and development and implementation of strategic marketing plans required, previous experience with desktop publishing and special events planning highly preferred. Community Outreach Coordinator
Since 1984, Asheville Humane Society has been placing homeless pets with new families. Now you can become a part of our lifesaving mission by joining our Community Relations department. We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Community Outreach Coordinator to implement marketing tactics, produce special events, work with volunteers and pitch publicity opportunities. This position reports to the Director of Volunteer Services & Community Outreach and requires a friendly, customer-service focused demeanor. Position requires Bachelor's Degree in PR/Communications/Marketing or Journalism or other relevant communication discipline; or 4-5 years in special event and volunteer management. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse audiences; familiarity with social media and web-based technologies; and ability to work independently and outside normal business hours. As with most special event production positions, this job entails a high degree of physical exertion. Salary range $26-30k. Excellent benefits package. EEOC employer.
